U.S. Senate Youth Program
The United States Senate Youth Program brings top government leaders together with outstanding high school students from across the country. Two juniors or seniors are chosen from each state, the District of Columbia, and the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) to attend a week‑long educational program in Washington, D.C. The program is very competitive and based on merit. Each student also receives a one‑time $10,000 college scholarship and is encouraged to study history or political science.
