Alternative schools are designed for students who need non-traditional learning due to academic, behavioral, or personal challenges. These schools offer flexible teaching methods to help students meet graduation standards and prepare for the future.

Alternative School Administrator's Information

Across all school types, administrators must provide:

  • Lead administrator’s full name and title (e.g., “school principal”)
  • School’s physical and mailing addresses
  • Contact info: phone, email, website URL
  • Staffing plan: licensed educators responsible for curriculum and instruction
  • Attendance and records systems: daily attendance, enrollment logs, assessment/tracking tools
  • IEP/504 compliance documentation
