Kansas Parent Information and Resource Centers 

Parents may contact the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) for technical assistance; however, several additional organizations across Kansas provide support, information, and advocacy for families. The resources below offer guidance, training, and services to help parents support children with disabilities.

Disability Rights Center of Kansas (DRC)

Families Together, Inc.

Families Together, Inc. is a statewide organization that supports parents and children with disabilities. Each year, the organization provides free direct assistance to more than 12,000 Kansas families through information, training, and family support services. Infinitec 

Infinitec advances independence and inclusive opportunities for children and adults with disabilities through technology. Infinitec connects individuals and families to accessible technology, training, assistive equipment, and specialists by building partnerships that maximize available resources. Kansas Parent Information Resource Center (KPIRC)

Special Olympics Kansas 

Special Olympics Kansas empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports training, competition, health initiatives, and leadership programs. The organization offers year‑round opportunities for children and adults and promotes inclusion, acceptance, and healthy lifestyles across the state. Kansas Technical Assistance System Network (TASN)
