Kansas Advisory Council for Indigenous Education
The Kansas State Board of Education and Kansas State Board of Regents agree to collaboratively establish the Kansas Advisory Council for Indigenous Education (KACIE) whose goal will be to serve as a consulting body, with support from the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska, the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas, and the Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri in Kansas and Nebraska, in matters related to Indigenous education in the State of Kansas.
