Career and Technical Student Organizations

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are an integral part of Career and Technical Education (CTE), providing students with opportunities to apply their learning through leadership, competitions and real-world experiences. CTSOs help students develop the academic, technical and employability skills needed for success in college, careers and the workforce.

State Supported CTSOs

State-supported CTSOs are officially recognized and supported by Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) because they align with Kansas CTE pathways and workforce priorities. These organizations are embedded in school programs and provide students with leadership opportunities, competitions and real-world experiences that support career readiness.
