CTE Achievements and Recognition

Demonstrated excellence in career and technical education is strongly valued by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE).  This webpage will list those who have earned this recognition, students, teachers, schools and districts.

Student Recognition:

KS CTE Scholar

The KS CTE Scholar recognition was awarded for the first time in 2017.  This annual award recognizes students who have indicated a well-rounded demonstration of knowledge and skill according to their experiences within career and technical education.  Achievement by senior students indicates academic achievement, CTE knowledge with excellence, community engagement through leadership demonstration, and documentation of skill attainment. Those earning this status are listed by school year ending date.
