The Agriculture Career Cluster concentrates on scientific advancement of agriscience, cultivation, processing, and distribution of agricultural products, employing advanced technologies and sustainable practices to optimize global food systems. This Cluster also supports other plant- and animal-based industries including regenerative agriculture, sustainable logging, and fisheries. This Cluster has meaningful connections with the Energy and Natural Resources Cluster, highlighting a symbiotic relationship that emphasizes stewardship and resilient communities.
School-based agricultural education (SBAE) is an essential educational program delivered to over 13,000 students engaged in 220 Agricultural Education programs taught by over 265 instructors in school districts across the state of Kansas.
Agricultural education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber, and natural resources systems.

We aspire for excellence as we recruit, prepare and encourage individuals to pursue agricultural careers in life skills through agricultural education.
We serve the community and inform them about agriculture, its needs, opportunities and challenges, as well as provide life long career skills.
Agricultural Education programs will respond to community needs and Kansas' agriculture needs. It will prepare students to be College and Career Ready and to participate as leaders and managers in a global economy.
