Counting KIDS Workshops Continue Until Sept. 12
There are 11 host sites for the upcoming Counting KIDS Workshops presented in advance of the state's student Count Day. In-person workshops are led by KSDE Fiscal Auditing Director Laurel Murdie, who will review important information districts need to enter for funding purposes. Openings still exist at most locations. If your particular preference site or date is full, please consider an alternate workshop location.

View the full workshop schedule here: CK_Workshops

Who should attend? Counting Kids workshops are intended to benefit school personnel responsible for entering Count Day data. Typically this includes Board Clerks, Building Secretaries, Student Information System Data Clerks, Registrars and Business Managers. Remember - Since Sept. 20, 2025, is a Saturday, Count Day moves to the first school day following the 20th. Count Day this year is Monday, Sept. 22.
