Reminder: Early childhood care and wellness conferences set for May 6 and 8

The team supporting the All In For Kansas Kids statewide strategic plan for early childhood invites families with young children, early childhood care providers, and mental health professionals to attend two free conferences on May 6 and 8. These conferences will focus on mental health and special healthcare needs, foster family-driven connections and help professionals better support families.

  • May 6: 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Russell Child Development Center (RCDC), 2735 N. Jennie Barker Road, in Garden City. Lunch will be provided. Click here to register
  • May 8: 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Hilton Garden Inn, 221 W. 43rd Street, in Hays. Lunch will be provided. Click here to register

To support the time and commitment of caregivers and families of young children, a stipend is available for those caring for children from birth to age five. More details will be provided following registration.

Please share the attached fliers below with parents and caregivers who may be interested in attending. Contact Ashley Lafond, alafond@ku.edu, with questions.
