Districts and systems invited to remaining in-person KESA 2.0 fall 2025 information sessions
School districts and systems are invited to attend the upcoming in-person KESA 2.0 information sessions for updates on the latest developments and valuable insights into the accreditation process.
Please note: These information sessions will provide the same information shared at the recent spring sessions. There is no need to attend an upcoming fall session if you attended a spring session.
These sessions will be hosted by Dr. Jay Scott and Myron Melton, of the KSDE accreditation and design team, to ensure districts and systems are prepared for the 2025-26 school year. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and network with fellow educators.
Registration is not required. Attendees can participate in the following session either in the morning from 9:30-11:30 a.m. OR in the afternoon from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Contact Rue Huereca-Retana, Rue.Huereca-Retana@ksde.gov, with questions.
Revisions to KESA 2.0 Resources
The KSDE accreditation and design team has recently finalized KESA school improvement resources that will assist and guide each system in preparing for their 2025-26 School Improvement Day. A major focus of KESA next school year will be the implementation of the KESA action plan, which each system developed during the 2024-25 academic year.
The resources listed below are linked to the Accreditation webpage.
In addition to the updated resources, the accreditation and design team has released the 25-26 KESA Action Plan Blank Template. Systems will use this resource to draft their 2025-26 action plan.
