Biography

Cathy Hopkins is a native Kansan who values her faith, family, and education. She owned a small business for nine years and worked for her local chamber of commerce for three and a half years. She also spent nine years employed by a national law firm, where she developed a training program and curriculum for the firm’s administrative staff. In this role, Mrs. Hopkins traveled across the United States to train staff members and co‑supervised more than 30 administrative assistants.

During the six years she lived out of state, Mrs. Hopkins served at a global ministry headquarters—three of those years as executive director of the international association branch of the ministry.

She and her husband live in Hays and have six children and 13 grandchildren.
