The countdown is on for the 2025 Great Ideas in Education Conference: July 28–30

We’re just days away from the KSDE Great Ideas in Education Conference in Wichita. Join us at the Hyatt Regency & Century II for three days packed with innovation, collaboration, and inspiration!  

What you can expect: 

  • Interactive general sessions diving into the Four Fundamentals: standards alignment, structured literacy, balanced assessments, and high -quality instruction—all designed to launch your 2025–26 school year initiatives.  
  • Breakout sessions led by experts on cybersecurity, early childhood quality instruction, structured literacy, data safety, and more. 
  • Full-day specialty tracks on Tuesday, July 29, including the literacy summit (LETRS®), KESA facilitator training, Safe & Secure Schools (including Narcan and threat assessment briefings), and fiscal Q&A.
