The Kansas Home Visiting Conference did things a bit differently this year - and it paid off!
Moving away from a fully virtual format, the conference was held simultaneously in five regions across the state on Tuesday, Sept. 30: Garden City, Chanute, Hays, Wichita and Topeka.
The KSDE teacher licensure team is seeking volunteers to help revise the educator preparation standards for the following license areas:
The Kansas State Department of Education is seeking KSDE-trained program reviewers to review educator preparation programs in November and December.
The Oct. 10 deadline is approaching to nominate first-year teachers for the Kansas Horizon Award and nominate students for presidential scholars, presidential scholars in career and technical education (CTE) and the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP).
