Child care regional roundtables scheduled for Jan. 23, March 12

Early childhood professionals, caregivers, community members working to support local child care efforts, and anyone with an interest in child care in Kansas are invited to join a regional roundtable event to share your experiences with child care in your region.   

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Child Care Licensing System Improvement Team and the team supporting the All In For Kansas Kids statewide strategic plan for early childhoodwill be hosting a series of regional events over the course of the next year. The goal of these roundtables is to engage communities in strengthening child care in Kansas. They are free and open to the public.  

The Northeast Regional Roundtable will be 6:30-8 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Shawnee County Health Department, JP Lewis Building, Training Rooms A & B, 2600 S.W. East Circle Drive, in Topeka. Click here to register for the Jan. 23 event

The South Central Regional Roundtable will be 6:30-8 p.m., on Wednesday March 12, at Child Start, 1002 S. Oliver, in Wichita. Click here to register for the March 12 event.
