On June 17, KSDE and Educate Kansas hosted the first annual BOOST Summit (Building Opportunities for Outstanding Teachers) at Fort Hays State University. This event brought together education leaders from across Kansas for a day of collaboration, exploration, and innovation focused on strengthening the educator pipeline.
With strong attendance and broad representation—including Kansas Future Teacher Academy (KFTA) participants, KSDE, KNEA, teachers, principals, superintendents, special education directors, higher education partners, and members of the Kansas State Board of Education—the summit served as a powerful platform for sharing promising practices and tackling critical issues in education.
Stay tuned for a "Save the Date" announcement for next year’s BOOST Summit. We look forward to continuing the momentum!
