Systems have until June 30 to submit and correct chronic absentee data via the End of the Year Assessment (EOYA) record.
Chronic absentee data isn’t final until all EOYA records have been submitted.
Data can be submitted and corrected through June 30.
Check data for any corrections that might be needed during this window.
If a correction is made, the data will update overnight and can be checked the next day to ensure the correction went through.
Once data is uploaded, systems are encouraged to log into Annual Measures of Student Success (AMOSS), run the Chronic Absentee Report, and evaluate the uploaded data.
For assistance with correcting EOYA records, Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) staff members who work with Kansas Individual Data on Students (KIDS) host virtual office hours every Thursday through June. For more information, check the KIDS calendar.
For more information or questions, contact KSDE’s Dr. Robyn Kelso at rkelso@ksde.org.
