Every year, district test coordinators across Kansas are required to receive in-person test security and ethics training.
Each training provides test coordinators with an opportunity to hear the most recent assessment information, an overview of the assessments in the Kansas Assessment Program (KAP), and an opportunity to ask questions. At the end of the training, test coordinators are required to return to their district and train local staff on test security and ethical testing practices before summative testing windows open.
District test coordinators who haven’t attended a training this school year must sign up to attend one of the remaining trainings:
Register here for a training, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day, with lunch provided.
Contact Chelsea Pelfrey, chelsea.pelfrey@ksde.gov, KSDE assessment coordinator, with questions.
