April 14 virtual training scheduled for Mentor Stipends application

The Mentor Stipends application is open to receive 2024-25 reimbursement requests and will close on May 1.   

Click here to log into KSDE’s authenticated application. After getting into the Mentor Stipends portion of the authenticated application, there are several tabs for submitting the reimbursement requests:  

  • Edit “MENTORS”; 
  • Enter “MENTEES”; 
  • Enter “ASSIGNMENTS”; then 
  • “SUBMIT” the final report.  

 

Directions for each section can be found by selecting the four respective tabs in the left side bar.   

The deadline for submitting reimbursement requests is 5 p.m., on Thursday, May 1.   

Mentor Stipends training scheduled for Monday, April 14 

There will be a virtual training on Monday, April 14, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.  Topics covered will include: 

  • How to enter information in the authenticated application, starting with how to edit the list of mentors (entered prior to Sept. 25). 
  • The requirements for the local education agency (LEA), mentors and mentees. 
  • How stipend amounts are determined. 
  • When and how the funds will be dispersed to the LEAs that qualify.
