Body Venture is a traveling health education exhibit for K-5 students operated by KSDE’s Child Nutrition and Wellness team. It is a great opportunity for students to learn about the importance of making healthy food choices and being physically active.
The KSDE Child Nutrition and Wellness (CNW) team will be hosting School Nutrition Program (SNP) annual administrative training, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 3. At least one representative from each sponsor must complete this training.
The Kansas State Board of Education vision is: Kansas leads the world in the success of each student. This vision for education calls for a more child-focused system that provides support and resources for individual success and will require everyone to work together to make it a reality.
Wamego Unified School District 320 earned gold in the Turnip the Beet Award, hosted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS).
