Two Kansas schools recognized as National ESEA Distinguished Schools
TOPEKA — The National ESEA Distinguished Schools Program has recognized two Kansas schools for exceptional student achievement in 2025.

The Kansas State Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the first floor board room, Landon State Office Building, 900 S.W. Jackson, in Topeka.
The State Board will meet primarily in executive session to discuss education commissioner search next steps. The meeting will be livestreamed.
