The KSDE information technology team is hosting a webinar at 1 p.m., April 16, featuring Anthony Essmaker, regional engagement manager at the Center for Internet Security's Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC).
Essmaker will be providing information about the tools and services MS-ISAC provides to school districts across the nation, including cybersecurity resources and supports. By providing tools, training, and threat intelligence, MS-ISAC empowers educational institutions to strengthen their digital defenses, combat cyber threats, and safeguard sensitive information. Essmaker is a seasoned professional with more than a decade of experience in local government, project management, legal interpretation, technology, cybersecurity, and process efficiency. He is dedicated to securing local government units by leveraging his experience in local government and is understanding of cybersecurity principles.
