Paraprofessionals skills summit slated for Aug. 7

The K-State College of Education’s Council for Public School Improvement (CPSI) is hosting a hybrid para skills summit, 9-11 a.m., on Aug. 7.  

This event can be attended virtually or in-person at Bluemont Hall on the Kansas State University campus, in Manhattan. The cost is $50. Register here

K-State College of Education faculty and alumni and Kansas Teacher of the Year alumni will provide instruction on the following topics: 

  • Science of Reading  
  • Student motivation 
  • Effective teacher collaboration 
  • Navigating the legal landscape
