Fingerprint background check fee to increase to $57

Starting on July 1, 2024, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation will increase the costs of providing fingerprint-based record checks to state agencies.

The cost of a fingerprint-based record check will increase to $57.00. The Kansas State Department of Education must raise the fingerprint background check fee starting on July 1, 2024, from $50.00 to $57.00 to cover the increase.
