The conversion to the Kansas Education Data System, known as KEDS, is expected to take some significant steps forward during the 2025-26 school year.
The KSDE accreditation and design team is providing School Improvement Day and KESA 2.0 updates to the field.
The KSDE teacher licensure team is seeking volunteers to help revise the educator preparation standards for the following license areas:
This is anticipated to be a single committee revising the preparation standards for both license areas. Committee meetings are planned to be held online.
The Kansas State Department of Education is seeking KSDE-trained program reviewers to review educator preparation programs in November and December
