This edition of Pictures of the Week features Garden City USD 457's pollinator garden, summer learning and the district's Books-on-the-Bus program that brings books directly to children during the summer months to foster their reading skills.

This garden helps teach the importance of pollinators and how to create a sustainable and healthy garden. Mitchelle Perez, pictured second from right, is a science teacher at Garden City High School, sponsor of the Green Club and the Garden City Middle School robotics coach.
