A group of 20 Topeka USD 501 high school students recently made significant strides toward becoming teachers by officially committing to the Kansas Youth Teacher Apprenticeship Program on Aug. 15.

Revisions to KESA 2.0 resources
The KSDE accreditation and design team has recently finalized KESA school improvement resources to assist and guide each system in preparing for their 2025-26 School Improvement Day. A major focus of KESA during the 2026-27 school year will be the implementation of the KESA action plan, which each system developed during the 2024-2025 school year.
