First virtual KESA monthly update for 2025-26 school year set for Aug. 11
The KSDE accreditation and design team will host the first KESA virtual monthly update for the 2025-26 school year from 10:30-11:15 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 11.
KESA 2.0 information sessions slated for August and September
For the latest updates and valuable insights into the KESA 2.0 accreditation process, school districts and systems are invited to attend in-person information sessions in August and September.
Please note: These fall 2025 information sessions will be repeated for those who couldn’t attend the sessions this past spring.
The KESA school improvement resources that will prepare each system for the 2025-26 School Improvement Days are now available on the KSDE Accreditation and Design webpage.

Each Kansas school district is required to submit a report for their third grade students to comply with the Every Child Can Read Act, a legislative statement of intent regarding the promotion of academic achievement in schools to ensure all students move toward grade-level proficiency in literacy, especially by the third grade.
