Media Alert: Kansas State Board of Education moves to one-day meeting this month

TOPEKA - Due to the risk of a winter storm forecasted to impact northeast Kansas this week, the Kansas State Board of Education’s monthly meeting scheduled for Feb. 11-12 will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 11 only.

The agenda item regarding action on the removal of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from graduation requirements, scheduled for Wednesday, will be moved to the board’s March agenda. Board members are expected to take up the rest of Wednesday’s agenda items on Tuesday.
