Kansas State Board of Education selects Dr. Jake Steel as next education commissioner Steel to assume role June 1
Members of the Kansas State Board of Education will meet on April 14, for their monthly meeting in the first floor board room, Landon State Office Building, 900 S.W. Jackson, Topeka. They will meet April 15, at the Kansas State School for the Blind, in Kansas City, Kansas, and the Kansas School for the Deaf, in Olathe.

Kansas State Board of Education names finalists for commissioner of education
TOPEKA — The Kansas State Board of Education has named three finalists for the position of Kansas commissioner of education following a national search conducted in partnership with Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates.
The Board will announce the next commissioner during its April 14 meeting.
