KSDE will be offering two webinars to assist districts in completing the application for Individual Plan of Study (IPS) Star Recognition.
The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) is hosting informational webinars on the Kansans Can Star Recognition Program: Individual Plan of Study (IPS).
The path to leading the world in the success of each student starts in early childhood, long before a 5-year-old child begins kindergarten. Join the Kansas State Department of Education from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, to discuss the 2024-2025 Kansans Can Star Recognition Program for Kindergarten Readiness. KSDE staff will review the 2024-2025 Kindergarten Readiness Rubric, which has been updated to simplify the self-assessment process. Attendees will be invited to share success stories and ideas with their peers.
The Kansans Can Star Recognition Program is now in its fifth year of recognizing school districts for the great work taking place to help the state achieve its vision of leading the world in the success of each student.
