Final reminder: Register by Feb. 25 for KSDE data workshop on March 5

District registrars or reporting staff members looking to streamline their data management skills are invited to attend a workshop hosted by the Kansas State Department of Education in partnership with the Mid-America Association for Computers in Education (MACE). 

This workshop will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m., on March 5, at the K-State Alumni Center, 1720 Anderson Ave., in Manhattan. It is designed specifically for professionals managing student data in K-12 districts and is a unique chance for fellow registrars, reporting staff, and IT professionals to connect in a collaborative and informative environment.  

Register here by Tuesday, Feb. 25. The cost is $30. Lunch and parking are provided.  

From navigating reporting requirements to optimizing data workflows, attendees will gain valuable insights and practical skills to enhance their processes and will learn more about the following:  

  • Streamlined reporting: Learn strategies for accurate and efficient state reporting.  
  • Data management best practices: Discover tools and techniques to manage student data securely and effectively.  
  • Collaborative learning: Network with peers and experts who understand the challenges of student data management.  
  • Real-world solutions: Take away actionable solutions to improve daily workflows.
