Program celebrates achievements in key quantitative and qualitative measures
TOPEKA — Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson announced the 245 districts and systems who received this year’s Kansans Can Star Recognition Program awards during the Kansas State Board of Education’s meeting on Oct. 14, in Topeka.

TOPEKA — During his annual report to the Kansas State Board of Education, Kansas Education Commissioner Dr. Randy Watson said preparing Kansas students for their postsecondary pursuits remains of utmost importance for putting students on a path for success after graduating from high school.

Members of the Kansas State Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Sept. 25, to discuss the process of finding a new education commissioner.
