The Kansas Legislature passed a number of education-related bills during the 2025 session that are either already in effect or went into effect as of Tuesday, July 1.
Some of those bills include SB 45, which establishes a four-year adjusted cohort graduation rate calculation for purposes of accreditation; and SB 114, that permits non-public and virtual school students participating in KSHSAA-governed school activities to participate in ancillary school activities related to the KSHSAA activity they’re participating in.
