The Kansas Division for Early Childhood (KDEC) will host a one-day preconference "Supporting Young Children with Challenging Behavior (birth-five),” on Feb. 25. (See flyer attached below.)
This session will be 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the DoubleTree Airport Hotel, in Wichita. It will focus on understanding behavior, strengthening adult responses, and building effective support plans.

The slate of breakout sessions includes sessions focused on early literacy, quality instruction, and early childhood special education. Early bird pricing has been extended until Jan. 16.
The KDEC is the professional home of early interventionists, early childhood special educators, related services personnel, and families of young children with special needs in Kansas.
