Superintendents and special education directors were notified in early December of the Jan. 9 deadline to complete alternate assessment justifications in the Kansas Integrated Accountability System (KIAS) authentication application.
These justifications are for districts that tested over 1.0% of their students on the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) alternate assessment in one or more subjects during the 2024-25 school year.
